Richard Williams is CEO and Co-Founder of Healome Therapeutics, a company developing safer, more effective, and easier to use treatments for ocular surface conditions. With a background in physics and biomaterials, Richard co-developed Healome’s core technologies at the University of Birmingham, spinning out the company in 2021. He brings over a decade of experience in biomaterials and product development including two clinical trial approvals to date. He has also supported innovation more widely while on research funding panels, as a mentor with the NatWest Accelerator and University of Birmingham, and providing technical and strategy advice to companies developing health and personal care products.
